FOODIE ADVENTURE: DAY ONE
In this post, I'm writing about the food adventure I had yesterday. Enjoy and get hungry! xx
Round 1:
It was raining so heavily and we were hungry so we ended up stopping by 7-11 nearby our hotel and bought some snacks! News flash: The yakult is at least 3 times the size of Malaysia's and it only cost 10baht (about RM1)! And this sausage is delicious!
I rate this a 9.5/10!
Round 2:
After crossing the 'scary bridge' I mentioned in the previous post, we settled at this stall for our dinner.
Wan ton noodle stall.
Thailand's famous wan ton noodle! It was so good! It cost about 55baht (RM5.50)!
I rate this a 8/10! I was a little surprise probably because I've never eaten a wan ton noodle soup. I never knew it could taste so good!
This was from a different stall but this was selling beside the wan ton noodle stall. This was 40 baht (RM4) and I would rate it a 9/10 because they gave a lot of my favourite vegetables haha. But it was really tasty!
It was also beside the wan ton noodle stall so my dad decided to get some though himself have no clue of what is it.
I cannot rate this because I did not try it but my brother said it was okay. 20baht (RM2) for 4! The white one is cream and the orange is carrot.
Round 3:
Raining non stop ever since we arrived at our hotel room but still continued our foodie adventure!
50baht (RM5) for this and I'll rate it 10/10! It's so delicious! I wouldn't mind skipping the skybar and continue with my street food adventure.
Round 4:
We walked further after round 3 of food. Daddy saw this shop selling the tom yum I've craved for and fried rice my sister wanted so we went in! Right after round 3!
My dad ordered this because he likes it. I don't like to eat pork this way so I didn't try it.
My dad ordered a dry wan ton noodle this time because we had the soup one earlier. Hmm... I'd rate it a 4/10 because the noodles was very dry and hard, but 10/10 for eating the noodles with the tom yum soup!
Fried rice with crab meat. It wasn't something extraordinary. It was just okay. I forgot the price but I rate it 6/10!
Tom yummmyyyy!!
Best tom yum kung I've ever tasted omg! It cost 250baht (RM25) and I will rate it a 9.5/10! 0.5 points gone because there weren't many seafoods inside.
The shop owner gave us a bowl of noodles and told us to eat it with the tom yum soup. I think that's how the Thai's eat their wan ton noodle and tom yum together because we saw many locals eating like that! It was good! Very good! In fact, I think I want more of that!
This happened within the time frame of 5 hours. I shall say a temporary hello again to the weight I just lost. But it's all worth the weight gain haha.
One thing I love about food in Thailand: It's so much less oily compare to Malaysia.
I don't know how much weight I'll gain when I get back. Let's just hope the walking helps!
