FOODIE ADVENTURE: DAY THREE

Hello! This is my final long overdue post about my trip to Bangkok! -sighs in relieve-

Round 1:

We headed to try the tom yum noodle I've been waiting for since day 1 of planning the trip.

This stall is recommended by my mom's friend, and being a street food junkie and a tom yum lover, I couldn't resist!

                                                                          Menu

The stall. I'll post a picture of the map somewhere at the bottom of this post. Follow the map from the won ton noodle stall direction and you'll be able to find a square at the end of the road. Walk into the square and you'll find yourself in a market. Continue walking straight and you'll find this stall.

My tom yum pork noodle. I'll rate this 11/10. In fact, I miss having this tom yum soup! The tom yum wasn't spicy eventhough I saw the stall owner putting lots of spices, herbs, and CHILLIS!

Pork noodle clear soup. I didn't get to try this because my siblings refused to share some with me. I can only say it smells lovely and looks delicious.

Round 2:

Dessert time right after tom yum for breakfast!

The coconut ice cream is wonderful!

                                                                                 ❤️

Round 3:

After, we walked straight back to the main road and stopped by the won ton noodle shop my dad said he wanted to try. It was a meal after a meal in a short period of 30 minutes...

                                                                         The queue.

I'm someone who has no patience in queuing so my dad went to queue while I wondered around the streets. I just don't like waiting. :) Look at the long queue!

This man has lots of swag!

When I say I don't like queuing, I really mean it haha. Spot me!

Lol.

Finally after a long wait... The soup won ton noodle.

It didn't appeal to me as much as I would've thought. It's either I was 'forced' to eat this with a full stomach, or I didn't like the taste of it.

My mom's friend drew this map for us and I found it really helpful so I'd like to share it with you! :) This map will lead you to the won ton mee shop and the tom yum stall written above!

Round 4:

After that, we went to Chatuchak market. We did some shopping (idk what to buy other than my awesome pair of ripped boyfriend jeans!) and then it was late-lunch time.

We went to the nearest stall we can find in Chatuchak because my siblings were complaining of hunger.

This beef/pork (i don't rememeber) noodle taste salty. I wouldn't recommend you to try this stall if I still remember where it's located.

                                                       One sentence. 'No, thank you.'

The rice was watery, the whole thing was so salty and it cost me 50baht for this small portion?!

Round 5:

Later that night, we walked to a night market nearby our hotel for late dinner. I was starving by then because the rain wouldn't stop during the evening.

This fried rice is 10 times better than the one I had in Yauwarat and Chatuchak. Even though it's a plain fried rice, it was lovely. (Or maybe I was just too hungry?) Jokes. 10/10!

The healthiest instant noodle I've ever had. Fried with onions, sausages, eggs, and lots of different types of vegetables! Thailand, you're so good at making me drool over the simplest food. ❤️

Glass noodle was uh-may-zing! It's way better than the one I had in Yauwarat! 7/10!

-applause-

I'm finally done with this series of post from my trip to Bangkok! Thank you for constantly baring with my lame asf personality and style of writing! I hope to write again soon!
