I DID THE MEGAZIP IN SINGAPORE!

Veyana, my best friend is someone who I do lots of crazy stuffs with and she's the one teaching me how to YOLO my way through situations. We've partied hard in Melbourne during camp, went on The Edge at Eureka Skydeck together, spontaneously going up to the Skywalk in Sydney, bought an entire outfit cuz we decided that it was beach day that day since bikinis were on sale... The list of crazy things we've done goes on.

I went to visit her while she's still studying in Singapore because why not? Life is about spontaneous  unplanned trips! I met up with her at Dhoby Ghaut station after walking around the botanic gardens alone. We decided that it was time for another crazy activity together so we headed to VivoCity in Habourfront to board the monorail to Sentosa island. We bought the tickets to the Megazip alongside with the monorail tickets. The Megazip was $39 and the monorail was $4 if I'm not mistaken. (it's been awhile hehe.)

We took the Sentosa Express and got off at the last station, Beach. We walked around Siloso beach before getting lost (as usual) while walking to the canopy for the Megazip. The map says 10 minutes walk but it took us 20!!

We both didn't have pouches for our phones so we had to sadly keep it away with our bags at the locker. Bright side, if I had my phone with me I wouldn't be able to pretend to fly by flapping both my arms lmao. The experience was so cool! I was nervous from the start because who is mentally prepared for this?!

We were lead to a corner to weight us and the staffs helped us with our harness. It's always fun going on activities like these because the staffs are always so cheerful and we get so hyped up! After while, we got onto the vehicle that led us to the location. The group of tourists in the same vehicle as we were was so crazy, shouting their way up and that got both of us super hyped up as well. We arrived and had to climb a few flights of stairs to reach to the top where we'll be flying down from.

I started mumbling a lot because I was terrified after seeing how it goes while Veyana was just beside me solo raving to her own singing. It was finally our turn after a long wait! We took some pictures, then they got us buckled up, opened the gate, pushed us out so our feet don't touch anything, took more pictures (I felt like my heart was gonna explode anytime soon. I was literally holding tight to the rope while smiling awkwardly to the camera.). I kept wondering when they're gonna countdown, so I can mentally prepare myself, but they didn't! One loud 'tock' and we're off! The first 5 seconds I was struggling with my legs then decided I should let go my hands. (I didn't pay almost RM120 to hold the rope all the way down, honey!)

It was one great experience having to see such beautiful view wondering, "so that's what a bird sees all the time." We took our time to walk through the beach, slowly admiring the beautiful beach, played with the sands awhile, then headed back to the canopy to remove our harness. We both collects pictures of every adventures that we've done, so we spent $20 on the pictures.

It was such wonderful experience for me and it'll definitely be one for you too! xx
