LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURES
Two months since I came back from Seoul. Here you have it everyone, sorry for the long wait, my very last post about my most recent trip to Korea.
It was our last Saturday in Seoul that we decided to finally go to the Lotte World! We arrived at 11am and got our entrance tickets and off we went to start off our adventure! Make sure you have your passport and airplane boarding pass with you as you can get a discount as a foreigner.
At the main entrance of Lotte World!
Our tickets! It says family love!
My sister and I were amazed by the sight we saw upon entering. It was so beautiful just like what we see in pictures, only better!
I never want to leave this place. It's so beautiful!
My sister saw many people gathering around a cave-like entrance so we went and check it out. It was a camera and you could have your face taken to be a fish!
My sister and I swimming together. I look ugly omg.
The crowd at 12 noon on a Saturday. Again, beautiful place.
This wall art caught my attention while we were queuing to enter Lotty's air balloon. It made me calmer just by looking at the pictures. A quiet cottage with autumn leaves and a nice clean river.
Monkeys busking.
You have to, must, cannot miss this Lotty's air balloon if you love graphic art! From thunder to under water, clouds to rainbows, prepare yourself for an amazing adventure on this air balloon. Trust me, you'll love it for the graphic art.
It was time for a parade when we came out from Lotty's air balloon! The three little cars are so cute!
Talented dancers showing off their incredible skills!
Was it Nutcracker?
Egyptian princess.
After the parade, we went to queue for The Adventure of Sinbad's voyage. We had the same voyage while we were in Disneysea, Japan so why not ride again since we loved the voyage?
The queue was very long but luckily it was only a 30 minutes wait. Selfie at the boat before the voyage begun!
Here we go.
DRAGON.
Okay so it wasn't like Disneysea's. This looked more real and scary compared to Disneysea's. This voyage had a little roller coaster feel as there were drop. If I were to compare, I liked the Disneysea's more because the characters were so cute and there were lots of singing!
It was about 2.30pm when we had our lunch. Every other restaurants were crowded and the dishes were simple but expensive. We came across this restaurant and called our mom to see if we could have this for our lunch as it was slightly more expensive. She said we could and in we went.
This pizza was called the BBQ Garden Salad Pizza if not mistaken. The base is made from charcoal so it's very healthy. I think it was worth 19,000 won (if not mistaken) as it has a lot of beef cubes and they were delicious.
We only had this for our lunch as we wanted to continue playing and didn't want to have a full stomach. I would rate this pizza a 9/10.
We went outdoor since it wasn't really cold. The wasn't much to do outdoor though.
Natural sunlight is best for taking pictures!
I'm afraid of heights and dare not to ride a roller coaster but I had already calm myself for 3 weeks before coming to Lotte World so I decided to give it a try. The queue for the ride was 1 hour and 45 minutes because it was a Saturday.
Constantly taking photos because the weather was beautiful!
Finally it was almost our turn!
The ride was crazy. There were lots of drops and turns. I almost lost my breathe from the fast speed and cold weather. My hands and legs froze as the wind was blowing strongly at that time. I couldn't feel myself and I screamed out loud. After the ride I felt really relief!
All the stress was gone! Just free! But I'm still afraid of riding the roller coaster.
We went over to the folk museum because it was free and I enjoy learning new things. The first thing that I saw was the dinosaur. The dinosaur moved and scared the hell out of me haha.
There was also a lot of information about the lives during neolithic era, traditional Korea outfits, houses and even what they use to make tofu! I didn't take pictures because the figures were quite scary as if they were going to haunt me sorry I'm a scaredy-cat.
I also played the Tuho, you just have to throw the stick into a pot within the given lines. I guess I was either lucky or just a natural at that game haha. I was quite good at aiming the stick into the pot!
It was 5pm when we came out from the folk museum. We wanted to take the hot air balloon to tour the whole Lotte indoor, but the queue was 2 hours or more! Sad but we had no choice as we could really do something in 2 hours rather than waiting.
The Indoor was lit up beautifully!
We went outdoor again to play the bumper car. I couldn't find the picture I took during the night time. It was freezing cold at night. We waited for 30 minutes to ride the bumper car and it was so fun! It was basically a war zone with those I played together with haha.
My sister went and took the flying chair and I facetime with my friends and family online since there were free wifi haha. It was beautiful at night but the wind was very strong!
We went back in after my sister finished her ride at the flying chair and there were performance going on.
Ended after a while haha.
We went to the flume ride at 7pm because we got the fast pass earlier. Luckily we got the pass because if we didn't we had to queue for long hours! The flume ride itself was fantastic. There were 2 drops and we were all soaked in water haha.
Just in time for the night parade after the flume ride!
It was an amazing night parade! Every single light in the building was shut off and left with only colorful LED lights for the show! It was amazing how every thing had beautiful lights on it, even the wonderful dancers!
Dreams of Adventure. I love this projection the most and I salute the one who wore this.
Octopus.
Fireworks!
After the parade, we went and took a sit at the Garden Stage. A while later, there were bass and drum sound coming out from the stage so we waited assuming there will be a performance soon. And we were right. A band called MusiMix from Manila took the stage and performed!
Their song choices were great but it made me feel very old as they were singing songs like Hey, Jude, Pretty Women, some Korean oldies like Bounce and I found myself singing to it lol. I never knew I actually knew how to sing these songs even though I grew up listening to it.
They ended their mini concert with Oppa Gangnam Style! They got kids to go up on stage and danced to the song. There were crowds in front of the stage (my sis were one of 'em) raving, singing and dancing to the songs! It was a great concert to end our day at Lotte World!
That is all I'm going to write about my Korea trip! I went to a lot of places but mostly places like Myeongdong, Dongdaemun... those really common places that I really don't know how to write about it and not much pictures were taken there. I hope to return to Korea again soon and visit all my friends, teachers and the ajussi and ajumeoni that made delicious meals every time we went to their restaurants! It took me almost two months to post this and now here you have it!
I'm going to continue to write about my Singapore trip now! Hopefully it won't take so long again!
