CHILDREN'S GRAND PARK SEOUL
I posted about my afternoon 'animal hunting' a few days ago. So today, I'm posting about the place I went in the morning!
We went to Children's Grand Park for a walk since the weather was nice and cool!
In front of Exit 1 of Children's Grand Park station! If I'm not mistaken, opposite the Exit 1 is Sogang University. It looked really big and vintage from far!
I really love the empty space in front of the exit! It gave me a calm feeling upon arrival and the naked trees looked beautiful surrounded by bushes!
I could just sit here and enjoy the scenery forever. That's Sogang University's building behind me!
You can spot the entrance right after u come out from the station so it's not really a long walk!
Being the animal lover we are, the first place we went was nowhere else but the zoo! The best part is, it's free!
An ox? A bull? Or something else? Hahaha sorry. I'm just really confused between these two.
It was my first time seeing zebras so close! I could reach my hands and touch them but sadly it'll then be against the rule.
I was amazed by the zebra skin. I mean, I didn't really had a chance to see zebra so close! ( my first and last time seeing a zebra was when I was 3?) Zebra stripes is just a work of master art. I noticed that the zebra all have different pattern stripes! I was very impressed by their stripes!
Hahaha. I spent about 20 minutes just observing the zebra. I really couldn't take my eyes of them.
But it is kind of sad to see three of them running around in a small compound. I feel really bad. They should maybe at least provide them a larger area. They're meant to be in the wild and be free.
They just kept showing me their back side and nothing else. Sighs.
I have to admit. This animal is really cute! But what are they? Llamas?
I felt stupid myself while writing this post. I realize I don't know a lot of animal names and species.
Fascinating, isn't it? The size of a deer's antler depends on their age!
From left to right; 6 years, 5 years, 4 years, 3 years and 2 years from birth.
This.
This little deer is smart and very proud of him/herself. Look at the face he/she made when I asked if I could take a picture of it. Lol. Yes, I asked the deer if Icould take a picture... And the answer it gave was obviously no hahahaha. But this is too cute to not share with everyone!
'Get away Brenda, I know I'm famous and no, you can't have my picture.' -deer
Empty cages behind me. Maybe because the weather was a little too cold so the staff brought all the animals somewhere else.
Tried to mimic the monkey. We kinda look alike.
GRRR.
Tiger vs. Jaguar
Who wins the scary face contest?
Everyone knows the song 'Mary had a little lamb', right? Well, not exactly a lamb but still, I never thought I had the pleasure to see Mary and her little sheep here! Omg they're so cute!
I'm so confused between lamb and sheeps, jaguar and leopard and cheetah, ox and bull..... So embarrassing. I better start learning my animals again. :/
Jungle King wannabe.
Adorable little cuties alert! Look at the way they sat cutely! Omg I didn't sign up for so much of cuteness! HAHAHAHA
From the way it look, it seemed a little mysterious. Reminds me a little of the woods near Derek's house on Teen Wolf. Scary...
After the land animals, we headed into the water zoo! ( that's what they called it.)
The igloo suited the weather so much. The wind was so strong at that time!
First time seeing a seal so close!
That's the only animal they have inside the water zoo.
As you can tell, I'm really bad in posing. HAHAHA
I hope you enjoyed reading! I went to a lot of places but didn't write about it because I think the places like Myeongdong are quite common so I really don't know what I should write.
I only have about 10 days left to explore Seoul! I just wish that time could pass slower! I wanna spend more time here!
