CHRISTMAS IN SEOUL
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! This year is my first year spending Christmas without all my family members. They all exchanged presents and had traditional Christmas feast back in Malaysia without me. :(
During Christmas eve, we went to Lotte World Mall for Hard Rock Cafe to buy a Hard Rock badge for my travel the world with Hard Rock collection.
We followed the directory given and went to the sixth floor to look for Hard Rock Cafe Seoul and came across this bridge that connects Avenuel to Lotte World Mall!
The view is pretty cool!
I fell in love with this beautifully decorated train instantly!
This vintage train was opposite Lotte Cinema and Hard Rock Cafe Seoul. They even have the paper subway maps inside the train! So vintage!
A modern world city girl fascinated about everything from the past! I just enjoy viewing things from long time ago. It's amazing, isn't it? Getting to see the world that was before you were born, a different feeling from what we're living now.
If this was actually a replica of a real train during the olden days then I must say I would love to take a time machine a travel back to try to go on this train. It's all made of wood inside and I just love how vintage it is!
I said earlier that we followed the directory that lead us to sixth floor. Turns out, Hard Rock cafe entrance is located on the fifth floor, just beside Lotte Cinema.
Amazing decoration on the reindeer's antler! White and grey can never go wrong!
I just find this little magical garden beautiful.
Can you relate to me that sometimes when you take good and clear pictures for someone but they repay you by taking blur photos? Well, that's exactly my sister.
Olden days shops and streets in Seoul.
We went in to Seoul Seoul, a section filled with restaurants range from asian to western.
I find this corner fascinating as it showcased the olden days shops in Seoul.
Beautifully decorated stairs that starts from the fith floor to the sixth!
I had minor problem walking up and down that stairs as right below me was 5 storeys of nothing!
Since it was Christmas eve, my mother said we could have any dinner we'd like to have. We both craved pizza so bad so we went in to this California Pizza Kitchen located inside Seoul Seoul on the sixth floor!
We ordered their chef's recommend pizza, the BBQ chicken pizza. The size itself were smaller than expected but it was enough for thr two of us. It tasted so good, especially the barbeque chicken slices together with the cheese! Did I say cheese?! Yes, the amount of cheese inside is a lot! Good thing for cheese lovers like my sister and I! It was really delicious!
Price:19,000₩
My sister loves cabonara while I dislike cabonara because it's too milky and thick. But since I craved pasta and she had ordered the cabonara, I tried a little and it was so good! At least better than others I've tried. The sauce wasn't very thick and it was just the way I wouldn't mind eating.
The chicken cutlet beside was so crispy! I think they added some chili powder inside as it was a little spicy.
Price: 18,900₩
Night view from the bridge at sixth floor connecting Avenuel and Lotte World Mall!
The view was amazing at the afternoon so I made a point to go back up again when the night arrive since I thought night view must be better. It proved that I wasn't wrong at all! When the night comes and Seoul was lit up, it was such a beautiful sight!
Too bad that the wind was blowing at that very particular time and we were too lazy to put on our winter jackets again so our hands were cold and ended up with blur pictures.
The Christmas tree from the 5th floor bridge connecting Lotte World Mall and Avenuel. Just look how amazing the tree is and the line of pororo!
SUPER CUTE PORORO ARMY INVASION DURING CHRISTMAS!
I keep finding beautifully decorated Christmas tree around Lotte World Mall and I really love this one. It looked so magical like the stars above the sky.
The piece they played attracted me to the crowd. It was one of my favourite music piece by Johann Pachelbel- Canon.
Is she a pegasus or a unicorn? I'm always as confused as a 5 years old kid when it comes to animals and plants.
On the way home, we passed by Baskin Robins and got this cute polar bear Christmas ice cream cake for 25,000₩! The cake was too big for the two of us but we managed to finish all of it while we had a Teen Wolf and Roommate marathon!
I'm not a fan of cream (basically anything with cream) so I did a 'minor surgery' to Mr. Polar Bear and removed all the creams around him so I could have his chocolate flavoured brains and strawberry flavoured intestines. My sister, on the other hand, loves cream so she ate all the creams I removed. lol
