EVENING IN DONGDAEMUN
We went to Dongdaemun for late lunch on the first day daddy came to Seoul to meet up with us because mum personally asked us to bring daddy for the grilled fish.
Afternoon sky in Dongdaemun's Cheongyecheon stream. The grill fish street is somewhere on the left of the cheongyecheon stream on the above picture, the building on the right is the Pyoung Hwa Clothing Market.
There was no problem for us this time to find the location as it was our second time there.
I think the shop owner recognized my sister and I from before as we kept saying how nice the food was to him and he gave us an extra grilled fish for free this time! We're so lucky for getting so many free foods from ajumma and ajussi throughout our stay in Seoul.
The staff grilling fish carefully to avoid burning it.
Ajumeoni, my sister and I!
Kimchi jiggae is always a must for my sister. It comes with side dishes and a bowl of rice for ₩6,000.
I asked the shop owner to recommend us a fish since I couldn't understand the names of the fish on the menu. He recommended us this fish, it was soooo good that we came back for more with daddy! This was ₩7,000.
The free fish that were given to us was delicious and look what happened to it after 10 minutes!
5pm sky at Cheongyecheon stream, Dongdaemun.
The wind was blowing so I had to be an eskimo for that whole evening hahaha. Behind me is Pyoung Hwa Clothing Market. Mostly selling old ladies clothes and some really cool hats but the price is not very reasonable. You can get cheaper in Gangnam Station underground shopping!
We walked by this store selling 호떡 hotteok and I ate a few because my favourite Korean street food has always been hotteok!
I ordered the green tea one and it tasted soooooo good! It was big and thick and the fillings were full!
Wonderful evening sky in Dongdaemun near subway exit 8!
That's all I have for today's post! Till next time! :)
