MANLY BEACH, SYDNEY
The first place in Sydney that we both visit together was Manly Beach. We met up at Circular Quay and took the ferry to Manly.
*I'll write a post about Opal Card for travelling in New South Wales soon. I suggest you to go and get the Opal Card if you are planning to travel in NSW as it'll be more cheaper to travel with that card than to buy tickets for every trip. Veyana didn't have her Opal card that day and she had to spend $15 for a two-way ticket from Circular Quay to Manly and back, while I spent around $7 only using that card.
On my first ferry ride in Sydney!
After we had our fish&chips, we walked a few steps down and found Ben&Jerry's ice cream! I immediately stop Veyana from moving further as I've never tried B&J! She suggested I try the Peanut Butter one so I did!
Happy Brenda by the beach with her very first cup of Ben&Jerry's!
My first ever Ben & Jerry's! ❤️
I'm pretty sure we're overdressed for the beach.
I'm obsessed with Ben&Jerry's.
This is when I still think that seagulls are cute since it was my first time seeing them in real. I changed my views on seagulls a few days later. They're monsters in disguise. Run if you have food with you. Save your food.
One funny story. It was around 5.30pm and we were still casually sitting by the beach enjoying the sea breeze. Then, Veyana asked when was the last ferry back to Circular Quay. I forgot to check the timing at the wharf earlier so Veyana went online and searched. We were both in shock when the information on the internet wrote 5pm was the last ferry back.
Immediately, we freaked out and quickly walk back to the Manly wharf in hopes that the information online was incorrect. We ran to the ticketing counter and asked what time is the last ferry back and she said 9pm. LOL! We panicked and ran for nothing.
HAHAHAHA! ❤️
