ALICE IN WONDERLAND FANTASY DINING, GINZA
Hello!
If you are a huge Disney fan like me, you'll definitely not miss the chance to dine in a themed restaurant!
When I was planning the Japan itineraries with my mom, I came across this Alice in Wonderland theme restaurant in Tokyo and I told my mom that we have to go there!
So we did.
Hallway entrance
We went to the one in Ginza. It is located on the fifth floor. Once you arrived at the fifth floor, you'll be welcomed by the 'hare'. They practically own the whole fifth floor.
The walls are covered with the story lines from Alice in Wonderland.
Once you confirmed the number of people, they bring you inside their special 'hideout'. Inside the room, there are a few other rooms, maybe with different designs. It was covered with the story cloth. Seems complicated to understand. lol
The atmosphere was very dark. You barely can see someone's face. That's me sitting comfortably on our table!
Tables and chairs!
Only the queen is permitted to enter this wash room.
The design of the toilet is so cool too! Behind me was cheshire cat!
Waitress lady, me and behold, the menu box!
I have to say, they have the best menu on earth! I'm not even kidding. I couldn't take some nice pictures of the box as it was dark.
Course menu!
Each person is required to order one food and drink, and you have only 2 hours to enjoy your tea party there!
Pizza menu!
Your highness!
Tea party for six, please! (Say it in a very strong British accent!)
Our tea party officially started when our complimentary 'eat me' bread was served! They said you'll shrink once you eat this. The cream served together with the bread was delicious!
My little brother turned into a hare instead of shrinking after eating the 'eat me' bread! HAHAHA
EAT ME
About half and hour, our food was served! We ordered different food and shared out since there was a minimum order.
Yellow tail pizza! The rosemary juice goes well with the pizza!
Pork Slices!
I ordered the Singing Alice salad since it looks delicious and rich in nutrients. What I didn't know was that if you ordered this salad, the waitress will come and mix the salad for you while singing a song! The one who sang for us, her voice is beautiful!
Ingredient 1 for the salad.
Ingredient 2 for the salad.
Here's a picture of me with the salad and the waitress who sang while mixing the salad for us! :)
Ingredient 1 + Ingredient 2= Best salad ever! It has bacon, lots of different types of vegetables and smoked salmon as the rose on top!
My brother insisted that we have to order a spaghetti for him and so we did. We ordered the red wine white sauce spaghetti. Delicious! It's not cabonara.
At the end of our tea party, the dessert I ordered came! There were a few other dessert but everything seems normal from the menu. So my sister and I chose this Alice tea party dessert set! This dessert is overpriced for 1,500 yen.
If you look closer, it's actually Alice, Cheshire cat and a caterpillar! It took me some time to noticed.
Time is ticking!
The bottom layer of the dessert plate!
While I was using the wash room, I spotted this. It's their 10th anniversary this year!
They gave us some strawberry 'drink me' tea to make us grow bigger since we ate the 'eat me' bread that made us shrink. It's so funny!
Posing with the 'hare' after meal!
Posing with 'Alice' the waitress after meal!
It was truly a wonderful experience to be able to dine in a themed restaurant, especially with Disney's! The food was pricey though. The bill for five of us including tax came out to about 13,500 yen, which is about RM400+. It was expensive but since it was our first time, daddy let us go.
If you prefer other types of themed restaurants dining, check this website out! Lot's of cool restaurants that may suit you best in Japan!
